Cours LIN1132 – English Academic Research and Writing

This course is designed to introduce students to the processes and products of English academic research writing. Students will learn how to research, structure, compose and edit research papers, reviews, reports and various types of essay answers. They will also learn how to evaluate the quality of informational sources and document whatever they choose to cite or paraphrase. By the end of the course, students should have acquired the skills to handle all of the various English academic research and writing tasks that will be assigned in the course of their degree program in Teaching English as a Second Language.
