Cours DDL5310 – Intensive Teaching of English

The course introduces future ESL teachers to the principles and techniques of the intensive teaching of English. Topics include: overview of objectives and of underlying theoretical principles for intensive teaching; intensive ESL programmes in Quebec; methods and techniques used in intensive teaching; developing and adapting appropriate material and activities to the intensive teaching context; evaluation. Application of communication technologies.
